The righteous have returned to Eupheim. And the land trembles.

Falling stars, no creation of the heavens or symbols of peace, crashed down upon the land with a fiery splendor reminiscent of the sun. The twelve-point Iron Star; a declaration of war by a force unseen since man pulled itself from the prying claws of the Dark Ages.

The Brotherhood of the Iron Star, a secret order nearly as old as time itself, stands ready to reclaim a damned nation for mortal men. Tens of thousands strong, the Brotherhood has assumed the mantle of leadership over the country. Humans are back in power. Their purpose: To bring the light back; to force the creatures of the night back into hiding and strike their very existence from the world.

The tenuous acceptance of supernatural creatures that had begun to form under the previous governments has begun to resurface. Most non-Humans are in hiding simply for the purpose of avoiding fear and ridicule, while others are to avoid discovery and destruction by the powerful Brotherhood.

Factions have risen up in an attempt to keep the Brotherhood at bay, vying for control of the vast land of Eupheim. Humans, Vampires, Lycans, Demons and other major races resist the Brotherhood or fight amongst themselves. The former President, fallen from power more than eight years ago, Alexander Grimsley leads a movement to take that power back. Shaky alliances are formed, and lasting enemies are created.

Asmodeus, the once great and powerful demon looked upon by so many as 'saviour', has been banished back to the far reaches of hell. From there, he seeks to regain his seat of power over the land and his followers reel at the loss.
