Nocturnal predators of ruined houses, deathless creatures of darkness, dreadful hunters of the night and feral corpses ravenous for blood. All of these are what describe what a Vampire is. They generally lurk in the dark places of Eupheim, as ancient and legendary these terrifying creatures rise every night, hungering for the blood of the living. Yet, a Vampire's most romanticized ability is the power to pass on its immortal curse, often turning their prey into undying slaves, with all eternity in which to hunt, most Vampires may sire countless spawn of a multitude of humans with a variety of powers. Over time, and through the innate abilities of countless spawn, even the scourge of Vampirism might change, fundamentally corrupting into variant strains of the same ageless curse.

Most ancient Vampires almost always remain forever anchored to their coffins or buried beneath the unholy earth of their graves, while other Vampires become consumed by their thirst for blood becoming feral and brutish, these vampires stalk the wild reaches of the world like starving animals, gaining power over degenerate scavengers and abandoning their coffins for filthy, darkened holes. Although they often slake their thirst on animals or traveling Humans make just as savory meals. Vampires are able to use their dark gifts to summon nocturnal creatures or to travel through the shadows often attacking from surprise whenever possible, keeping their opponents off balance and terrified.

 

As most Vampires prefer to single out a lone target against whom to make hit-and-run attacks, they may even employ lesser creatures as diversions, commanding them to distract their prey while they go in for the kill. All vampires were formally human and often appear just as they did in life, although their features are often hardened and feral, with the predatory look of wolves. They often embrace finery and decadence and may assume the guise of nobility, to constantly scheme to strengthen themselves and fill the world with their tainted progeny. Though despite their humanoid appearance, all vampires can be easily recognized, due to their pale skin, haunting eyes, and a feral cast to their features. However other Vampires have been documented to be immune to the harmful effects of sunlight.

We do not regulate this, giving you more freedom in your role playing experience. We leave it up to the player of the Vampire character that will be turning the player's Humanoid character. However please be sure that you have permission from the player of the character prior to beginning the process.
